What is the game about?

The game is about a ragtag group of animals that are trying to save their world from destruction. The evil Dr. Eggman had turned the once great land into his own amusement park, with rides and attractions themed after himself.

However, the inhabitants of the world won’t stand for this and decide they need to stop him. They’re willing to fight and die for what is right, and their bravery will be put to the test as they battle Dr. Eggman’s newest weapon: The Final Fortress!

The final fortress is filled with 6 acts in each level, but if you’re looking for an even bigger challenge there are also 16 special stages. The special stages are a maze that Sonic can run through to find crystals hidden throughout the stage.

How do you play it?

So, this isn’t a normal sonic game where you run as fast as you can and collect rings. This is a puzzle-type platformer that requires a bit of thought to complete. You must activate switches by running into them until they’re all activated at the same time. Then Sonic jumps onto the final switch to make the bridge appear so he can go to the next area.

There is no time limit but there are some platforming elements that require precision and timing just like the original Sonic games on Sega Genesis. The first stage starts you off with a tutorial of sorts: jump over spikes, activate switches, and how to complete the level as a whole. If you’re fast enough, you can accumulate a lot of rings and be at least silver on the level.

If not, then you’ll likely only get the default 100 points needed to move on. The levels are short so as long as you don’t dawdle around or die, you should finish it quickly enough.

Why does it frustrate people so much?

Before I answer this question, please know that it’s not about the game itself. It was actually quite interesting to see what people had to say about Sonic The Hedgehog (1991). Most of the responses were negative (to say it lightly).

People complained about its lack of plot, lack of direction, and everything else that isn’t necessary to complete the game. Some people even said that Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) was one big fat symbol for greed.

One of the most common complaints that people made about Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) was how unfair it was. I mean, getting hit by enemies and obstacles without even understanding why is probably enough to push anyone over the edge.

Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) has been known for being an extremely challenging game.

Who should not play this game?

The game doesn’t have much of a plot. It looks like it’s supposed to be about saving animals, but all you do is run around collecting rings and defeating robots. The worst part is that the game has no direction. There is no evidence that the game designers wanted to give any sense of direction whatsoever.

However, it’s still not as bad as Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric (2014). That was just a waste of $34 million. Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) has been known for being an extremely challenging game. The game doesn’t have much of a plot. It looks like it’s supposed to be about saving animals, but all you do is run around collecting rings and defeating robots.

The worst part is that the game has no direction. There is no evidence that the game designers wanted to give any sense of direction whatsoever. Sonic’s name has been dragged through the mud enough already, but this game makes him look like an idiot.
